Use this study guide to learn the outline of the gospel presentation. The outline with provide a frame work to follow as you share the gospel message. Give yourself several days to absorb and retain the information. Then you will go on to practice saying presentation in your own words. After some days of practice you will know the presentation well enough to share with confidence.
Lesson 1: Learn the ten basic sections of the outline:
I. Man Separated from God II. Christ on the Cross III. The Tomb IV. Christ is Risen V. From Darkness to Light VI. Heaven or Eternal Fire VII. Preparation for Prayer VIII. Pray for Salvation IX. Assurance of Salvation X. Now that you have received Eternal Life
Practice writing out this list till you can do it from completely from memory.

When you are confident that you have leaned the ten basic sections, move on to the next lesson.

Exercise: Have some one listen while you repeat the complete presentation outline with the accompanying quotes from scripture or use a recording device to record and play back your practice..
Now you know the outline of the presentation. But it is just a framework and not the complete presentation. Next you will learn to say the full presentation in your own words so that it will be easy for you to share with others without loosing your train of thought. What you will want to do over a period of several days is go over the entire outline point by point at lest once a day. First read a point out loud as it is printed. Then say again without reading it, in your own words if necessary. Then after you have gone over the whole presentation point by point then from memory recite the whole presentation and note any part of the presentation that you can not easily recall. Review and practice any parts that you find difficult to repeat.
Finally, when you feel you have master the presentation, have some one listen as you repeat it them. Have them following along with the printed presentation to see that you have mastered each point and scripture.

Print out copies of this card to carry in you wallet, purse or Bible so that you will aways be ready to lead some one in the prayer of salvation.
Pray for Salvation Father God, thank you for loving me / and sending your son to die for me / I acknowledge that I have violated your law / and sinned against you. But now I place my trust in your son Jesus / who died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins / and that you raised him from the dead. / I receive the forgiveness made available through Jesus / and your gift of eternal life / And I receive Jesus as the Savior and the Lord of my life./ For all this I thank you./ In Jesus' name I pray. /Amen.
